Messiah Assessments

Assessments

General:

    1. Tracking God’s big mission: in non-letter books, have students track God’s mission of redemption and restoration. Where do they see it? Are they learning how to look for it and notice it?
    2. Self-Assessments (Google Form)
    3. Journaling (Google Doc and/or Flipgrid)
    4. Reflection questions related to key themes, where they saw God’s big mission (redemption/restoration), or where they saw other teachings, concepts, or events they were told to look for
    5. Annotating – notes, circling, underlining – in the NT
    6. Quizzes (multiple choice)

Specific:

    1. Paul Project: have students track Paul’s prayers from each letter and write them down. At the end, have them read through the prayers and write a short paper on what Paul seems to care about most when he prays.
    2. Paul and/or other letters: Socratic seminar [provide link to doc with instructions]
